Conditioning company not the point I'm so excited because fall Decor is some of my favorite but not all of it is great and one of the worst fall home decor Trends ever or all of the word signs everything that says fall listen I know what month it is is I have the Calendar app on my phone I have a calendar in my house hanging on the wall I know what.

Month it is I don't need to see a fall sign out on the front porch don't need to see it on the pillows I don't need to see a little trunk with some little pumpkins in it because I know what is coming it's an obvious I think there are so many better things we can do than just have like blatantly obvious Decor that state something it's kind of like.

Having a sign in your kitchen that says kitchen like I kind of got it when I saw the refrigerator and the sink in the oven we know that we don't need to have fall home decor signs that say fall however the opposite side of that is something really fun you can do and that's these iconic fall shaped pillows I love them I eat them up especially if.

You like that kind of kitschy moment in your home I adore these especially right now everybody loves the Pottery Barn pillows you know the ones are shaped like little pumpkins or little bats or whatever for Halloween they have a great selection of fall throw pillows that I think are fantastic and so much fun and be sure you get them now before they.

They're so much fun they're so much better than a pillow that says fall on it it's just not necessary and it's not elevating The Fall season and I think these fun can kind of quirky cute shaped pillows are the best trend for fall home decor another great Trend idea decorating element for fall that I absolutely love is a chunky throw.

Blanket okay I know that's basic I know it's simple because like Garrett a throw blanket I know but nothing says fall to me like being cozy and I think the the blanket is like the essential it's the quintessential moment of fall right I want to snuggle up I want to have my little cup of coffee cup of you know hot chocolate in front of the fireplace even.

Even if it's 97 degrees outside I don't care I'm gonna do it because I'm embracing the fall spirits and that is through a chunky throw blanket which I love to like cuddle up in I love it the dogs love it everybody loves it my husband and I can get under a little blanket and have a cozy little moment I love that for us but the fall blanket.

And that's a great texture for fall actually cashmere pillow covers are very on Trend right now as well and you can chop all of those in my Amazon storefront but that chunky that soft that fuzzy and fluffy moment on a blanket on a sofa it's so inviting when you walk into a space and you see it there and it's just like oh it's so warm.

And comfy cozy and I love that for me I love that for you and I love that for our homes now I just mentioned orange and we have to talk about it because everybody out there is saying that orange for fall is not on Trend and I am just I'm just wondering if Mother Nature got the message honey because the last time I checked the pumpkins were still.

Going to be orange and the leaves were still going to change their colors and that that's kind of the color that they are right so I'm just curious as to whether or not that's happening this year orange for fall I think is great I think it's acceptable I think it's okay I think it's wonderful it's a fall color what I do in my home is I transition.

Colors so instead of just being like orange I'm gonna do Tans and oakers and umbers and these really moody saturated tones that have so much warmth to them I also love this green tone I have on the sweater right now also linked in the description box down below as a matter of fact everybody always asks what I'm wearing in my videos and I always try.

And Link that in the description box for you if you're ever interested in what I'm wearing which I think is great for you anyway I like these warmer tones like this great burl wood box here now I did get this from Home Goods quite a few years ago so I'll see if I can find a dupe for you online in but these tones are so great for fall I love having.

Those in my home but what's really on Trend this year outside of just these warm tones are Maroons and Plum tones I think these are great they're very fun it's it's a classic fall color but very on Trend this year for me in my home if I was going to do these which I'm not I would do them in dried florals I think that's the place that's the moment to do.

This because let me tell you what I'm not going to have purple pillows hanging out around my house I'm not going to use them every year because I uh purple is a fine color it's just not one that is like in my repertoire of design it's just not what I go to I love it because I know the purple lovers out there I gotta come for me and I love you guys.

But it's not what I need to have in my home all the time so I would like to see dried florals I think that's great you can do a wreath with these dried florals in these Plum like tones and I think that's really great like an aubergine moment for fall love it those are are some great tones so look at some of those plums and Maroons and some of.

Those aubergines and look for some it really just neutral earthy warm tones like umbers like Tans all of that layered together in your home really creates a lot of depth and warmth and that's what we want for the fall season and that's what we want our homes to feel like let's talk about something that always has warmth and welcoming and.

Character in a home which is what we want for fall and that is mood lighting or candles now I adore a scent of fall right and I'm not talking about like oh we need to have candles let's go to the store in the mall and get a little you know three wick candle we can have those and they're fun you want to be careful about it though because not all candles.

Are made equally I prefer to go to a smaller business that uses organic materials because you don't need all that like toxic chemical in the air but that's not the point of this video I love candles for fall and I would look for unscented candles because you don't want to be mixing a ton of different scents together but lay them out get a.

Bunch of candles put them on you know light them oh the moment the vibe the feeling of them I think is great and the same thing goes for mood lighting I want warmth in my home I want warm lighting because at night when we're snuggling when we're watching A Little Fall Time movie or something I want that experience I want that environment and.

That says fall to me like having a fire in my fireplace I think is great and don't get me wrong there's nothing wrong with having a fall scented moment in your home whether that is like an incense or some sort of Wick thing or whatever you decide to do I think is great for me I'm just gonna put the fireplace on and I'm gonna have my home.

Smell like that I like a little bit of a pine scent to my home and that to me says fall it says the welcoming of the winter season and just like a warm cozy Vibe that's what I like for fall I won't be cozy and that's that's the entire thing so that warm tone lighting is great for candles I think get different sizes get pillar candles get taper.

Candles and don't just get them all in one color look for a variation in the fall tones that you like there's nothing wrong with getting a tan color candle an ivory candle a plum colored candle and then you know you can transition so that's what I like to do with colors in my home for the fall I want these Warm Neutral tones but then as we get into.

You know October and Halloween I'm going to bring in a little bit more orange in and then once we get into November for the Thanksgiving season I want to bring a little more red and that to me says the holiday season has now started because then after Thanksgiving I can take that same red and pair it with green and boom we're ready for Christmas.

Uh love that storyline for me I think all of that's great get a layering of color and mood lighting and that immediately says fall to me so warm so inviting so cozy and I love that for us now one of the biggest Trends what we need to always be considering are organic materials and that's what I want to see for fall that's the trend I like.

The most what I'm noticing is that you know instead of having that big fall leaning sign on your front porch because like we need to tell everybody it's fall apparently they can't tell by the leaves on the ground whatever I like organic materials give me a stack of firewood give me a potted plant give me a little mum moment give me some dried floral.

Organic materials just always feel so much more authentic so much warmer so much more natural in a home and I think that's an essential fall element you want to incorporate look for those organic materials and get creative you can get a bale of hay and nobody's mad at it and you can feed your horses after a and a lot of those organic materials.

Will break down or can be used like hey take the firewood burn it in the fireplace I think that's great compost those pumpkins you put out front and the same thing goes for a plant like if it dies okay it died like it's organic it'll decompose or whatever I think all of that's great look for organic materials in your home as well things.

Like burlap and linen in your home they bring such a great texture to the space and they have that natural feeling that you will want in your home all of the time let alone just for fall so I think all of that will definitely create a moodiness a feeling in your home that says fall without being corny kitschy or tacky or dated and I think all of that.
